I’ve got 2 new pets,

And they’re the best they’ve ever been

Because they’ve got me

And It’s clear to see,

That I’ll love them for eternity.

I gaze so steadily

Up at the sky in hopes of new reality.

My heart is full with love,

It’s time to extend the peace beyond.

Just try and give it one more shot,

You’ve gotta give me all your heart,

As long as I’ve got you,

Life is as good as can be,

When I am set free.

I can hold on to hope and my dreams.

Woke up today hoping things would change

But your world is still gray,

Can’t let it stay that way.

Sometimes skies get blue.

Or maybe they get sad and cry too.

But then comes the rainbow to look up to!

Questions come and go, but all I

Know is that we all need space to

Grow into life gracefully, you see?

Run-around back and forth ‘cuz I’m happy,

Run-around up and down I could just scream.

Lately, I’ve just been so grateful for life.
